Behind the turntables at the age of 18, DJ Tramlife started as most under age DJs do; playing at college parties, college radio stations like KCR (UCSD) and honing his skills south of the border in Mexico. Following around members of the “King Size Multimedia” record pool (DJ Legend, Mike Czech, Bille Knight, and DJ Sieze) gave DJ Tramlife the first hand tutorial needed to become San Diego’s biggest DJ. Heavily influenced by the different eras of Hip Hop music from coast to coast, Tramlife’s quick transitions from one song to another keeps the crowd moving and grooving all night long. DJ Tramlife’s sound is eclectic and deep as he rocks the dancefloor with such styles as Uptempo, Electro, Party Jams, Rock, Hip Hop, Pop, Dubstep, Downtempo, and Reggae. Fresh off his 40 city North American tour with Abstract Rude formerly of Grand Royal & Rhymesayers Records, DJ Tramife has been perfecting his skills behind the Turntables to be the most recognized Hip Hop DJ from San Diego. He has shared the stage with Biz Markie, Bone Thugs-n-Harmony, Musab (Rhymesayers & Hieroglyphics) and Toki Wright (Rhymesayers). When he is not on the road, Tramlife holds down his weekly residency “Uptown Social Club” every Sunday at Air Conditioned Lounge & Monthly Residency “Spin Cycle” at Portugalia & The Ruby Room. DJ Tramlife loves to work with San Diego Stars such as DJ Bille Knight and DJ Artistic of No Sucker DJs at such local hot spots as U-31, Soda Bar, The W Hotel, Gaslamp Tavern, Kava Lounge and Kadan.
