Fashion/Jewelry designer Meagan Rae was born in Phoenix, Az in January of 1981. She relocated to San Diego in the summer of 2004 and earned her degree in Fashion Design from Mesa Community College. She enjoyed interning with UK textile designer Zandra Rhodes and at SD’s own Tribal Gear Clothing Co.

Meagan Rae showcased her creations and her talents of event production and fashion show coordination while being an active member of San Diego’s North Park Craft Mafia from 2008-2011. Her jewelry and clothing are regularly sold at art shows, craft fairs and special events around the city with some of the best movers and shakers in town.

Meagan Rae is presently designing clothing, accessories and patchwork blankets that you can find on her website as well as in several local boutiques. Custom orders and special engagements are a great reason to contact Meagan Rae for her designs.

A friend to all living things, in her down time, you can find Meagan cuddling her babies: Bailey and Barney- a couple of mutts.

Meagan Rae Clothing Artist Statement:
i seriously love. what, you might ask? i love so many things. i love to create, i love fabrics, beads and vintage everything! i love recycling, rainbows, glitter, flowers, bugs and mushrooms! i love old school cyndi lauper and Mr. T. i love the idea of punk rock meets the stepford wife. i love beauty with an edge. and i love one’s individual style.

When it comes to my jewelry designs, you will see found objects that you havn’t seen in years arranged in such a way that makes them beautifully wearable. My clothes will make you feel flirty, confident and one of a kind!

My favorite part about being an artist, besides creating art, is being able to share it with others and see people get excited about the same things that drove me to create it in the first place.
